Chart Generator turns a simple data table, typed in by hand or uploaded from a CSV or Excel file, into a clean chart you can download as an image, no spreadsheet software or design tool needed.
CSV, and Excel formats (.xlsx, .xls, .xlsm), and ODS. The first row is treated as column headers, and the first column as your category labels.
Bar and Line charts support multiple series (add more columns), shown grouped or as separate lines with a legend. Area, Pie, and Scatter are more specific: Area and Pie use only your first value column, and Scatter uses the first two as X and Y, since those chart types are built around that shape of data.
Past 8 series or slices, colors become indistinguishable from each other regardless of how carefully they're chosen. A Pie chart folds extra categories into "Other" past 8 slices rather than adding a 9th color nobody could tell apart from the rest.
No. Reading your file, building the chart, and exporting the PNG all happen locally in your browser. Nothing about your data is sent to a server.
